🐳 Pygmy Sperm Whale.

Pygmy Sperm Whales are toothed, solitary mammals. They don't have teeth in their upper jaws but they have 10-16 pairs of teeth in lower jaws. They found in world wide temperate, tropical and subtropical seas. As far as we know they do not migrate. Pygmy sperm whales are feed on crabs, shrimps and squid. They look like very similar to the dwarf sperm whales.

They have small compact bodies, small bulging eyes, have dorsal fins which rounded and small. They have wrinkled brown or blue- gray bodies with white or pink bellies. Pygmy Sperm Whales are usually seen alone or in small groups (6-7 animals). They spent very little time in the water surface and used sounds to navigate. They can dive around 1000 feet depth. The new born baby pygmy sperm is nursed by it's mouther; feed milk about 1 year or until the baby whale hunt for food of it's own. They have wide distribution.
