It's body is green, yellow or brown in color with dark backs and dark saddles.. There are ' O ' shaped spots in their bodies. Sometimes they bite humans. Spotted Wobbegong has been confused with Gulf Wobbegong. and also frequently confused with the ornate Wobbegong. A nocturnal species; feed in night and rest in sandy floor. Feed on crabs. lobsters, sea bass and octopuses. They gathers in groups.
