They are the largest species of hammerhead sharks. Great Hammerheads are found in tropical and warm temperate water world wide but they migrates  seasonally. They can distinguished from other hammerheads by the shape of it's hammer. They feed on crustaceans and cephalopods. Great Hammerheads are rarely attack human. They are active predator. The long stickle shaped dorsal fins and pectoral dins provide stability in water. They have stout  bodies. They fished both commercially purposes. Their meat is rarely consumed by human. Great hammerhead's oil is used for make vitamins.
