Knysna seahorse

The Knysna seahorse, also known as the Cape seahorse, is a medium-sized species that is endemic to the south coast of South Africa. Their maximum length is about 12 cm, and they have a short snout. Male ones have a slight keel above their brood pouch. It feeds on shellfish and other small fish. They are listed as the most endangered seahorse in the world. They are typically mottled brown, but they can range in color from white, orange, green, and yellow.
