Giraffe seahorse

Giraffe seahorse can grow up to 10cm long. They are found in coastal waters. Giraffe seahorses normally live at a depth of about 45m. Found close to seagrass and algal beds. There are bodies with dark spots and a small coronet on their head. The male one carried the eggs in it's brood pouch, which is located under its tail. Carnivore species mainly feed on crustaceans. Some people use giraffe seahorse by drying it out for traditional medicine.
