Leafy sea dragons are known as Glauert's sea dragons. found on the western coast of Australia. They love to live near seaweedy areas. It mainly feeds on shrimp. These species have pectoral and dorsal fins. They are also related to the seahorse and pipefish. The male carries the eggs in its brood pouch, which is located under its tail. The female deposits pink- colored 250-300 eggs on the male's pouch. They can change their body color. They are normally brownish yellow in color. They can only swim 490 feet per hour. They can live up to 9 years. Their maximum length is about 35 cm.
