Fin Whale

 


Fin Whales are the second largest  animals to ever live in Earth. Fin Whales also known as Finback Whales, Herring Whales or Razorback Whales. Finback Whales are usually live in small groups. They are fast swimmers. They can swim 23 miles per hour. Fin Whale nick name is "The greyhound of the sea". They can dive depth up to 1540 ft. They take up 30 years to reach maximum size. They can live for 90 years or longer. They can stay at underwater 20 minutesThey have baleen plates instead of their teeth. Fin Whales are black or dark brownish grey on the back and white on their underside. The fin whale's body is long and slender. At least two recognize subspecies exist, in the North Atlantic and the Southern Hemisphere. They are found in all the major Oceans from polar to tropical water.
