Narwhal Whale



Narwhal Whales are medium-sized toothed whale. It's scientific name is Monodon monoceros. It's meaning is "single toothed" or "single horned". They are live in Arctic water around Greenland, Canada and Russia. They do not have dorsal fin. Narwhale Whale are also known as "unicorn of the world" because they have horn like unicorn. The horn is actually canine front tooth that can reach long as 9 feet. Their horn is filled with sensitive pulp for nearly the entire length. They used it to research food. Narwhal Whales have black and white mottled skin pattern. Female whales are slightly smaller. They extinct because the climate change and other reasons. They can hold their breath up to 20 minutes. They can swim depth about 1 mile. Narwhals can swim 160Km per day.
