Smooth Hammerhead Sharks are species of hammerhead sharks. They are highly mobile species and active predator. They are found in worldwide coastal, temperate tropical water. Smooth Hammerheads are typically stay in shallow water. In the summer season they migrate towards the poles cool water. They prefer inshore and outshore. water less than 65 feet. They are the only one that appears in the Canadian water. They are large and have not mid- dorsal fins. They have brownish color bodies. Smooth Hammerheads have special sensitive cells in their head. They used their hammer shaped head to pin down their food. Have not natural predators.
