Big- belly seahorse

Big- belly seahorse or pot- belly seahorse is one f the largest seahorse species in the world. They can grow maximum length about 35cm. These species are found in Southwest pacific around New Zealand and Australian algae shallow water areas. They have long snout and big pot shaped bellies. The male one is distinctive because it's big brood pouch.  Their bodies are bodies are yellow or brown with dark spots. Feed nocturnally and feed on copepods and zooplankton. Have not teeth. Proficient swimmers. The eyes of big- belly seahorse are located on the sites of there heads. The male one gets pregnant and gives birth.
